 August 31, 2011: Laurelwood Academy Alumni plan to meet October 8 at the Gaston campus.  The academy sold this summer.  We will have 9:30 - 12:00 church services in the Laurelwood Church and a potluck in the Grade School Gym at 1:00.  There will be LA class pictures, and other historical memorabilia available to look at in a couple classrooms.  All alumni and friends are welcome, but the 1941, 1951, 1961, 1971, 1981, 1991, 2001 graduating classes are encouraged to come visit with your classmates.  If you have questions or plans for your class contact Penny Messenger, LA Alumni Secretary. 503-647-5868.

As far as we know at this time, these changes will not affect annual Laurelwood reunions at the Gaston facility!   The next reunion is still scheduled for October 2011.  Stay turned to this web page for more information as we have it.
